Good thing we have myth buster sites out there.

This is the response you get when you listen to someone who rallies behind an ideology, "I hope he fails." Because if he does then America does and that is what we all hope.Christopher Maloyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18376442840441510276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1844996720330347615.post-85150643071676259332009-08-20T08:45:33.192-06:002009-08-20T08:45:33.192-06:00This article is horribly skewed, I prefer the one ...This article is horribly skewed, I prefer the one on the actual factcheck.org site.

http://www.factcheck.org/2009/08/seven-falsehoods-about-health-care/

I am not a huge fan of misinformation, but I am a huge fan of government distrust.

I have come up with a few deal killers for me and any reform plan.

1. I don't want to be forced to report to any government agency the status of my personal and family insurance.
2. I don't want my taxes, or that of my employer or the businesses I frequent to go through the roof.
3. I don't want the government to have access to my medical records without a warrant.

Here are a couple of key questions about this whole Obamacare fiasco.

1. If this is truly so important, and must be done so quickly, why not just pass it? Democrats have sufficient votes in congress to pass anything without GOP support, and without any consideration to the will of the public.
2. Why does this bill not contain tort reform, which go a long way to reduce health care costs, much further than rationing.
3. Why does the most recent house bill make medical savings accounts, which put medical purchasing power back into the hands of the consumer, illegal?
4. Why does Obama keep talking about what is in his health reform plan, when he has never produced one.

Bottom line of my diatribe, is "I hope he fails!"Scotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11718168418893943361noreply@blogger.com
