I'm pretty sure many of these idiots feel that the only acceptable distance for a mosque is "back in their own land."
I've heard they're protesting mosques elsewhere in New York and probably in other places. I'd like to learn more about that, but I don't need another frickin' headache today. Or distraction.
That said, I've gotta mosque in my town. I didn't know until a few months ago--pretty cool. Then again, we also have a Hindu temple and a Sikh temple. Not to mention a billion Christian churches.

I would suspect that most of those opposing the mosque would actually prefer the world-wide extermination of anyone who practices Islam.
With the Cordoba mosque though, they think they've found a reason to justify their 'Crusades' type thinking.
