I will tell you that Maggie did a better job explaining the reason for her cause much better than that fear inducing anti-same sex commercial. I mean go watch that video again, it had dark clouds in the background with lightning (very end of worldish).
Despite Maggies view on traditional marriage, the Zeitgeist is changing and people are starting to realize how unfair our laws on marriage are.
Everyone thought California would be the leader in this cause, but surprisingly no. Iowa, a bread basket state right in the heartland. This was not a radical Mass. or Cali. Vermont, now Washington D.C. ... religions tend to hang on to the immoral traditional views much too long (they have a history of it), but the moral Zeitgeist will change despite that (just like it has for slavery, interracial marriage, women in the work force, you name it).
